Care Manager | Caring Senior Service – Sugar Land, TX

Do you have a passion for senior care and the leadership skills to drive meaningful change? Caring Senior Service of Sugar Land is seeking a bilingual Care Manager to lead our caregiving team and ensure that clients receive exceptional, personalized care in the comfort of their own homes.

As a Care Manager, you’ll be a vital leader in our mission, empowering caregivers, supporting families, and ensuring seniors receive the dignity-driven care they deserve. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with caregiving experience who is ready to mentor others, strengthen client relationships, and grow professionally in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit & Hire: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified caregivers to meet client demand.

  • Train & Develop: Oversee caregiver onboarding and provide ongoing training and mentorship.

  • Performance Management: Conduct evaluations and coaching to support caregiver growth and accountability.

  • Care Coordination: Assist with client onboarding and care plan development (licensed nurses may write care plans).

  • Scheduling & Coverage: Strategically match caregivers with clients and ensure dependable staffing.

  • Client & Family Liaison: Foster trusting relationships and respond to concerns with empathy and efficiency.

  • Provide Care as Needed: Step in to deliver direct care during emergencies or staffing gaps (including ADLs, companionship, and medication reminders).

Qualifications

  • Experience in caregiving, healthcare management, or home care services

  • Proven ability to lead and support a team

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, service-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background checks

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, daytime hours

  • Rotating on-call coverage (evenings and weekends)

  • Local travel to client homes as required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $35,000–$42,000 annually, depending on experience

  • Mileage reimbursement
