Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support for clients requiring complex transfers, including the use of transfer equipment like Hoyer lifts and gait belts
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Foster a safe and supportive environment to encourage client independence
- Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Build meaningful relationships and deliver compassionate, client-centered care
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with complex transfers, including knowledge of proper techniques and safety protocols
- Physical capability to perform safe client transfers
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient attitude
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Skills:
- CNA certification or equivalent caregiving training
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with mobility challenges
